SOMSA Sleep Aid Reviews

SOMSA review[starratingmulti id=1 tpl=12]

SOMSA is a sleep aid designed for adults by a company called Nature’s Wellness. The official description of the product says that it is the “best” safe, effective and all-natural medication currently available for insomnia relief. The descriptions used for the purpose of this review are from websites that sell the product, such as Amazon, as the official website for the manufacturer was not yet up and running at the time of this writing. The domain name had been purchased, but a notice saying that the site was “coming soon” was all that was available to view.

The SOMSA formulation was created to provide improved sleep during the night without leading to morning grogginess. This formula is not habit forming and is made of herbal and natural sleep support substances.

Among the ingredients making up the SOMSA sleep aid capsules are the following:

• Melatonin – this is a natural hormone produced by the body which is responsible for the waking and sleeping cycle’s regulation.
• GABA – this is a naturally occurring amino acid that functions within the brain to ease anxiety and support the mood.
• 5-HTP – this is a naturally occurring compound that is frequently used in unproven over the counter supplements meant for treating depression, anxiety and, of course, sleep disorders.
• L-theanine – this is another amino acid. Preliminary research has suggested that it may be helpful in easing anxiety and stress.
• Magnesium – this is among the minerals needed by the body for the restoration of a healthy nutritional balance within the body.
• Phellodendron root – this herb is used for a range of different types of healing and restorative properties. The official description of SOMSA does not describe why this ingredient was chosen for its formulation.
• Mucuna pruriens – this is a substance that offers the brain a natural source of dopamine, serotonin and other brain chemicals that are responsible for the regulation of the mood.

It is clear that SOMSA is geared toward people who are struggling to sleep due to stress or active minds and who can obtain the rest they need by being able to relax to an adequate degree. Most of these ingredients are considered to be unproven but they are quite commonplace in the nonprescription sleep aid industry.

This product is not appropriate for the treatment of chronic insomnia and is not likely to be very effective in treating sleeplessness that is the result of other underlying causes such as pain, allergies and other issues.
