Lights Out is a nonprescription sleep aid that many people use in order to help overcome bouts of occasional sleeplessness. It is made by a company called Key Nutrients, which is a small supplements company that offers three products at the time this review was written. This is the only sleep aid the company has to offer at this time.

The official webpage for this product on the Key Nutrients site claims that using this product will help people to fall asleep when they would otherwise be kept awake from common symptoms of a busy lifestyle such as restlessness, anxiety and an overactive mind. Not only does the product claim to help a user to be able to fall asleep but also to remain sleeping throughout the night instead of waking up before the alarm clock goes off, unable to fall asleep again.

The site calls the product all-natural and says that the formula is non-habit forming. It is based on herbal, non-GMO ingredients. It also states that using this product will leave a user refreshed and not groggy the next morning. It is meant to be used to establish a healthy sleep cycle.

At the time of the writing of this review, the Lights Out ingredients are: valerian root, chamomile, GABA, 5-HTP, passion flower, lemon balm, melatonin and vitamin B6. These are all exceptionally commonplace in the over the counter sleep aid market. Very similar formulas are easy to find as many rival products contain similar ingredients.

That said one of the reasons these ingredients are used for this purpose with such regularity is that many people absolutely swear by their benefits. For people whose insomnia is mild and occasional, and who can’t sleep because of an overactive mind, this type of product can be quite helpful.

That said, for people suffering from chronic sleep struggles or who are being kept awake due to other reasons such as allergy symptoms or pain, this may not be the right tool to overcome the insomnia.

The suggested directions for using this product are to swallow 2 capsules whole about 20 to 30 minutes before bedtime. No more than 2 capsules should be taken within 24 hours.

If symptoms of sleeplessness persist despite the use of this product, it is a good idea to stop its use and to consult a doctor. This is the case of the insomnia lasts for more than two weeks.

I’ve been taking Lights Out for a couple days now in an attempt to reset my schedule. I travel quite a bit for work and I suffer from serious jet lag. Unfortunately when I get back home, I don’t have time to recover properly and I have to adjust quickly to a normal schedule. It was starting to take it’s toll on my body and I was becoming desperate.

After trying a couple of the top supplements on Amazon nothing
seemed to really do the job. They were either not strong enough to put me to sleep and keep me sleeping through the night or they left me extremely groggy in the morning.

This is the first supplement that I found that actually puts me to sleep; keeps me asleep and then I wake up super refresh as if I never took a supplement at all.

It’s really, really helped me adjust my schedule quickly and for that I am extremely grateful.

I’ve seen some other reviews talking about the smell, sure it does have a slight odor, but it doesn’t bother me. It’s all natural ingredients and it’s made in the US so you know you’re getting the real stuff here. I personally don’t want my supplements having additional ingredients in it just to try and make it smell pretty. . I’m looking for purity here and that’s what I received.

It’s also vegetarian-friendly because it’s free of any kind of animal products or any animal derivatives so that’s a bonus.

I couldn’t be happier, finally my search is over I don’t have to keep ordering different products on Amazon and I’m Keen to try out some of Key Nutrients’ other supplements, specially if they are as high quality as Lights Out.
